A few months ago, I was invited as a speaker at one of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship chapters in Kuala Lumpur. I shared our life journey and how an anointed man of God rescued us from our financial disaster by teaching us compromised Bible truths. Some of you might know part of our story, we got into credit cards debts and the debts grew to huge amount, up to USD 100,000. Yes, around one hundred thousand american dollars. I am sure about the country you live in but credit cards interest rate is very high.

So, I shared about the main principle that turned our financial situation around and that is what is written in the Bible about the Tithe. Tithe means the tenth, or ten percent. Meaning ten percent (10%) of our income we set it aside and bring back to our God. Not many believers want to read or hear about this but it is the truth. We receive our breakthrough after giving 10 percent to God first. Of course in the natural it does not make sense. We should pay the credit cards debts first. Yes, that is true logically speaking but not true spiritually speaking. So in life, we are always making choices. Do I follow a natural law or a spiritual law. A spiritual law is always more powerful than a natural law or natural situation. With money is the same thing. I can follow a natural law or use common sense. The common sense is to pay credit cards debts first. The spiritual law says to put God's Kingdom first. The details of our story are in my book "Uncensored Truth About Money".

Back at our meeting at Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship. After I finished sharing, a lady came to see me. You could tell she was very nervous. She whispered in my ears that she had a big problem and she kept on showing me her phone. She said that loan sharks are chasing the money from her. as she was talking to me, the phone was vibrating by the phone calls. I have had no experience dealing with loan sharks.

I looked at her and told her with faith and confidence that I believe she urgently need to sow a sacrificial seed to the Kingdom of God. I told her that her case is urgent, and she cannot wait for salary so she could give her tithe to the Lord. Yes, that is what I did. I told her to go immediately and pray in the Spirit and ask the Holy Spirit to tell her how much to give, and where to give.

I can hear some of you are saying, but Faiket, why you did not give her some money? Good point. The Lord did not ask me to give her money. There are times that God spoke to my wife and I to give money to certain person or ministry but in this case He did not. Most likely, depending on the case, giving money to certain people does not solve their problem. They might have a temporary relief and go back to the same situation. This lady's case is like the story of the widow in the old testament where she was left with the last piece of pan cake and she had to give it the man of God in order to receive her breakthrough.

So, I told the lady to give a sacrificial seed money and to ask the Holy Spirit for the amount and where to sow it. I do not know the outcome of the lady's story but I know something for sure. God will always honor his Word. Maybe there is someone out there facing a similar situation. Act in faith. Sow faith seed. The Bible says God gives seed to the sower. Be blessed.
