![]() Click Don't you feel the same way? Well, you should! No matter what happened this year, 2018, you should still be thankful. If you reflect on your journey so far, you and I had 365 days of making choices. Some of us made good choices most of the time, and some of us did not make all good choices all the time. What is important is to reflect and take away some lessons. Some say do not look at the past. That is partially true. The real meaning of that statement is not to dwell in your past. But we can learn something from the past so we will not repeat the mistakes of the past in the future. So, let's be specific now. Why am I thankful for 2018? To start with, 2018 is another year of working with my wife and I am really thankful for that. As I have mentioned in another blog, "Working with my wife", not many men like to work together with their wives. I enjoy working with Olivia. Actually, it is a dream come true. Since I quit my job six years ago to focus on my entertainment business, I prayed to God to set Olivia free from the corporate job so she could be with me and do business together. It happened and I am thankful for that. Another reason to be thankful for 2018 is that we managed to settle fully a car loan payment. According to the bank records, if we continued normally with our monthly payments, our car should be paid in two years time. I believe in July 2018 we went to the bank and settle the whole amount. It was a great feeling. Another step towards being debt free. The Bible says, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law" Romans 13:8. It is nice to drive a debt free car:) Our business in 2018 reached another level. The credit goes to my darling Olivia as she worked hard and smart in all the projects. Very thankful for clients who trusted us even when we did not have any credentials for the projects. It is God's favor. Through one of the projects, we get to go all the way to Japan for a week and it was a great trip. One of the most important reasons to be thankful for 2018 is that all our family members enjoyed good health. Thank God for His protection and divine health. Health is wealth and it is true. Without health is not possible to enjoy the wealth. In summary, I am thankful for 2018 as I am another year wiser. I get to spend a lot of time with my wife and the kids. We drive debt free cars, good business, and health. Now it is your turn to reflect on 2018. You don't have to write a blog, unless you chose to, but take the time and write down at least five things you are thankful for 2018 and be excited for 2019. Design the life you deserve.here to edit.

![]() It's almost the end of 2018. Today, I posted a selfie photo in Instagram and Facebook overlooking outside my house, with the caption "Counting the Blessings". I am so thankful to God for this year. Why is it important to count the blessings? I believe, counting the blessings makes me humble before God and men because by doing that I realize more and more that that blessings come from Him and it is not about me. That is why, every day, we declare as a family that we are blessed and highly favorite. So, as I look at this year, it is just amazing to go through what the Lord has done. I wrote in my previous blog about working with my wife. Yes, it is worth mentioning that one of the blessings of 2018, is working with my wife, Olivia. She has done a great job bringing our business to a new level. God has given her wisdom to manage different teams, clients, and "her husband". Another important reason to count the blessings is that it reminds me of the goodness and the mercy of God. There were situations that we could have been hurt like in a car accident but the Lord protected us. I was driving on a highway and the family is in the car and suddenly I see this four wheel drive coming from the back really fast. I am on the fast lane and it is one of those moments that you are not sure whether to give away or stay in your lane. I decided to quickly give away and I felt the four wheel front tire touched the bumper of my car and he overtook us. I stopped the car and noticed the black marks left on the bumper but nothing serious. So, I thank God for protection. I count the blessings as it reminds of God's favor. We have experienced a lot of favor in our business. We have clients that in the natural way was not possible to have a deal with, yet God opened the doors for us and every time He will put someone that favors us. Many people do not have a revelation of God's favor. It is a very powerful truth. Expect His favor in your life. It is real. I count the blessings of God because by doing this, I will receive even more blessings in 2019. It is the principle of sowing and reaping. I sow gratitude and I will get even more to be grateful next year. Yes, I believe 2019 will be a greater year. So, what are you waiting for...count your blessings, NOW!k here to edit. This happened a few months ago.
I was invited to speak at one of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Actually, for many years I have been invited as a speaker to different Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship (FGB) chapters to share our life journey. This particular story is fascinating, at least for me so please read. At that time that this happened, I had not published the book "Uncensored Truth About Money" yet, but my wife and I started living in what I call, in the blessing zone. Our credit card debts are settled supernaturally through one of properties that we sold. My "Mr Bean" impersonator show business is doing very well. Our Fivecat Productions business is also growing very well. Anyway, I shared for about an hour our story and how we applied Biblical principles to our life situations especially our credit cards debts and at the end of the session a man came up to me and whispered in my ear what he was going through in his life. We could have just say a prayer and make him feel better about himself and even give him some false hope temporary but we decided to spend some time with him somewhere else so we could help him with some Bible answers. So, we met at a shopping mall in the evening. He shared that he had a major issue with his temper and with money. He said that he was not able to control his anger towards his wife and he will throw chairs and items during an argument at home. He was even considering to divorce his wife. On the top of that, he said that his money was running out, and he was left with RM12 or USd3 in his wallet. My wife and I spend two solid hours with him and shared with him from the Word of God, why he faced those problems and what are the solutions to his anger and money problems. He listened very well and we thought that he got the message. He even claimed to be a sensitive man to the Holy Spirit as he could sense the anointing and the presence of God in church. At the end of the conversation, I asked him, what is the first thing that he is going to do after this meeting. I really hoped that he could give us the right answers based on what we shared with him. To our disappointment, he went back to the same cycle, same story of his life. Sad but true. Then I remembered the parable of the sower that Jesus taught. The same seed was sown but the deciding factor for the seed to grow and multiply was the soil. This man's soil did not receive the seed sown. God gave me s statement in one of theses meetings, "You can be spiritual but not scriptural". Just like this 62 years old man. He goes to church, even serves, holding the flag, etc, prays, goes to Full Gospel Businessmen meetings and all sound very spiritual, but he does not apply Scripture. God just gave him another chance at the age of 62, so he could renew his mind with the Word of God and be a transformed man but he refused to receive the correction and the truth. If you are going through any struggle in your life, find out what does the Bible say about your situation. If you are not sure, ask someone who knows and once you know the truth, apply. It works. My book "Uncensored Truth About Money", a journey from the curse of poverty to the promise of prosperity, is full of Bible truths that are practical and applicable immediately. Be blessed. |
