![]() Recently I was sharing in a Christian Fellowship and the Lord brought something to my mind to share with the audience and I believe it is very important; Do not limit God. "How can that be" someone might ask. Yes, you can and I have faced people who do just that. Let me explain how do you limit God. It all comes down to what do you believe. When I talk about the blessing of God some people say that I am different. What they mean is that because I look like "Mr. Bean" character, I am blessed as I am unique. They feel that they are normal people and they do not have any special gift or skill. Now, that it limiting God. First of all, God has created each of us for a purpose. Not all are called to be doctors. Not all are called to be lawyers. Not all are called to be engineers, and the list goes on and on. Regardless of what you do, what really makes the difference is the blessing of God on your life. Let us take my example. Yes, at one point in our life, my income as "Mr. Bean" impersonator was substantial. Good income. As my wife and I expended our services and our business grew, now our business income is way bigger than my show business. This proves that my blessing does not depend on my special gift of doing 'Mr. Bean" comedy shows. By the way, our business is not rocket science either. We provide social media marketing and content development like videos and cinemagraphs. It is a normal business but the difference is the blessing and the favor of God in our life. The moment you say I am blessed because I am unique, you are limiting God. If I may use a stronger words, it is like saying "God is a respecter of persons". If you are a believer, you are God's child. We are God's children. His blessing and favor is available for all of us. So do not limit God with your limiting belief. You need to renew your mind. As your soul prospers, then you will prosper. I want to end this thoughts with a very pwerful verse in the Bible and I taking it from Amplified translation. Proverbs 10:22 "The blessing of the Lord - it makes (truly) rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (neither does toiling increase it). I love it." I just love this version and there is so much powerful truth in it. So, be blessed and do not limit God.
